i have lots and lots of great photos and stories and things to share. be quite assured that you will have many, many days to read about our lovely time on kauai. but... right now i am not exactly reveling in the unpacking, cleaning, laundry, all of the downer stuff you have to do when you return home. it was a fantastic vacation and we were trying to concoct reasons why we should stay. here are ten reasons why yesterday and today sucked. (we left last night at about 1030 pm island time and arrived home about 230 pm today)
reason 10. hubs and i did not get to sit together on the long flight from hawaii to phoenix. five and a half hours. instead, i sat in the row in front of him. aisle seats. night flights suck without a shoulder to sleep on.
reason 9. we had to leave paradise.
reason 8. the dude across the aisle from me on the plane snored so loudly i actually stepped on his (bare) toes a couple of times. he snored the whole five and a half hours.
reason 7. somebody's breath reaked. the whole flight. five and a half hours.
reason 6. we had to leave paradise.
reason 5. we came back to RAIN. and CLOUDS.
reason 4. we had to rent another stupid car until ours is fixed. a dodge charger. note: they aren't as cool as they may look.
reason 3. we had to leave paradise.
reason 2. i have gone through all of my rations of chocolate covered macadamia nuts. the rest are sealed in boxes for gifts.
reason 1. we are no longer in paradise.
to everyone who wrote such great responses to my posts from previously in the week, THANK YOU! i really appreciate them. i will try to respond soon! if not, know that your comments were received, read, and loved.
I hate flying, all cramped in with all those peeps. I also hat the first day home when you have unpack too.
I can't wait to see some photos.

welcome home to minnesnowta :) okay, maybe it's not that extreme right now..... i love hawaii and chocolate covered macadamia nuts, yummy. they should serve a valium along side the peanuts on the plane so you wouldn't have to deal with everyone else, i hate flying. hope you had a great time anyways!

You could have been working the past week:) And then going home to a place with no running water, no internet, no cable, and worst of all...nobody. Living alone, not knowing anyone is starting to get to me:(

How funny. While you were in paradise, I was in PHX this weekend! Sorry your flight wasn't ideal. It does suck if you have to sit separate from each other.
